Spring Cheer Clinic 2023

Cheer clinic is designed for girls or boys who are interested in cheer with MYFL or are currently cheering with MYFL. It's a great clinic to learn or perfect skills. This years clinic will begin with cheerobics and have 5 rotating stations including new MYFL cheers , crowd leading, jump technique, motion skills and dance choreography. We will have on site registration for anyone who wants to register for the 2023 season.

MYFL Cheer 2023 Season

Welcome to the MYFL CHEER Registration for the 2023 season! We are so glad you chose to join our organization. Here is a little bit about what to expect and some common questions we receive from parents/guardians:

MYFL Cheer FAQ: Q: Who can cheer?
A: Anyone age 3-12 years old.
MINI CHEER is offered for 3-4 year olds, this allows for smaller squad sizes and more one on one attention that children this age require.
Q: Does my child have to try out?
A: Nope! We want everyone to be a part of this amazing experience.
Q: When do we practice?
A: Practices are held Monday- Friday. Practices for special events such as "Cheer Extravaganza" can be held Monday-Sunday.
Q: How long will practice last?
A: The minimum amount of practice hours per week is 1 hour. The maximum amount of practice is 6 hours per week. It is up to the individual cheer coach(es) to decide how they would like to break the hours up. We always try and accommodate a practice schedule that runs concurrent with football practices for siblings but there is no guarantee.
Q: When are games?
A: The season starts in August and goes through November of each year.
Q: What will my child be doing in cheerleading?
A: There are choreographed cheers, a dance for half-time, stunting, jumps and tumbling with previous experience.
Q: Is the uniform fitting mandatory?
A: YES, the uniform fitting is mandatory for all cheerleaders and there are no make-up dates. The schedule is posted months in advance so please plan accordingly. This year we have actual items for try-on to minimize sizing issues/alterations.
Q: Does MYFL offer payment plans for the uniform?
A: YES!! Please email us at [email protected] to get more information in regards to a payment plan. All payments must be completed by June 12th, 2022 in order for us to place an order for your child's uniform.

Uniform Costs:
Uniforms will be the same as last season. You may purchase individual pieces as needed.
$330.00 Includes: Shell, Skirt, body liner, briefs, backpack, megaphone regular poms and a pink out pom.
2 Bows are included with registration, regular season bow, and a pink out bow.

**Up to an additional $50 per cheerleader can be charged over the course of the season for Pink-Out items, custom team items, Homecoming, etc. These items are decided upon as a team after the season begins.

**No registrants will be accepted after May 15th. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS due to the amount of time the uniform manufacturers take to make the uniforms.

**Before registering your child please note that there are NO REFUNDS for the cost of registration as we are a nonprofit organization.

Mini Cheer 2023 Season

MYFL Mini Cheer 3 and 4 Year old program.

Mini cheerleaders will cheer for our flag football team(s). Please be prepared for practices after 5 p.m. most coaches are not able to schedule practices before this time due to work schedules. Practices are usually 1-2 times per week depending on the coaches schedule. Parents must stay at practice or have a designated adult at practice with their child due to their age. Your child must be potty trained and must be able to drink from a regular cup to participate.
