MYFL Cheer FAQ: 

Q: Who can cheer?

A: Anyone age 3-12 years old.
MINI CHEER is offered for 3-4 year olds, this allows for smaller squad sizes and more one on one attention that children this age require.

Q: Does my child have to try out? 
A: Nope! We want everyone to be a part of this amazing experience.

Q: When do we practice?
A: Practices are held Monday- Friday. Practices for special events such as "Cheer Extravaganza" can be held Monday-Sunday.

Q: How long will practice last?
A: The minimum amount of practice hours per week is 1 hour. The maximum amount of practice is 6 hours per week. It is up to the individual cheer coach(es) to decide how they would like to break the hours up. We always try and accommodate a practice schedule that runs concurrent with football practices for siblings but there is no guarantee.

Q: When are games?
A: The season starts in August and goes through November of each year. 

Q: What will my child be doing in cheerleading?
A:  There are choreographed cheers, a dance for half-time, stunting, jumps and tumbling with previous experience. 

Q: Is the uniform fitting mandatory?
A: YES, the uniform fitting is mandatory for all cheerleaders and there are no make-up dates. The schedule is posted 8 months in advance so please plan accordingly. This year we have actual items for try-on to minimize sizing issues/alterations.

Q: Does MYFL offer payment plans for the uniform?
A: YES!! Please email us at [email protected] to get more information in regards to a payment plan. All payments must be completed by June 12th, 2021 in order for us to place an order for your child's uniform.



  • Cheer Uniform-

NEW Cheerleaders: $285.00

RETURNING Cheerleaders: $250.00

  • Includes: Shell, Skirt, body liner, briefs, bow, backpack, megaphone and poms.
  • Up to an additional $50 per cheerleader can be charged over the course of the season for Pink-Out items, custom team items, Homecoming, etc. These items are decided upon as a team after the season begins.


MARCH 1st - MARCH 31st Early-bird Registration- $55.00

APRIL 1st - MAY 31st Traditional Registration- $65.00

JUNE 1st - JUNE 12th Late Registration- $95.00

**No registrants will be accepted after June 12th. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS due to the amount of time the uniform manufacturers take to make the uniforms. 

**Before registering your child please note that there are NO REFUNDS for the cost of registration as we are non-profit organization.
